CHITIPA – Police in Chitipa have arrested a 21-year-old Estonie Kaira for allegedly breaking into school office and stole items worth millions of kwacha.
Sub Inspector Gladwell Simwaka, PRO for Chitipa Police Station said Kaira on the night of August 22,2020 broke in Chisasu Community Day Secondary School office and stole two sets of Desk Computer worthy K1,750,000 (One Million Eeven Hundred And Fifty Kwacha).
“Kaira was arrested at Zambwe trading centre where he intended to sell the items.
He will appear before the court of law soon to answer a charge of breaking into a building and commit a felony therein.” Said Simwaka
Kaira hails from Zambwe village in the area of Traditional Authority Mwaulambia in Chitipa district.
