Former MACRA Director General Godffrey Itaye granted bail

Former Director General of Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) Godffrey Itaye has been granted bail.
National Police spokesperson James Kadadzera confirmed of the development in an interview, saying Itaye was granted bail on Wednesday.
“Yes, he is not in police cell. He has been released on police bail,” said Kadadzera.
Itaye was arrested on Tuesday by Fiscal Police Department for alleged abuse of office and fraud.
