Motorists in Lilongwe are looking forward to reduced traffic flow in the capital city following the opening of the Area 18 Interchange.
The infrastructure also known as cloverleaf interchange is set to open this morning being the first of its kind in Malawi.
It is expected to reduce congestion on the roads that connect the City Centre, Areas 18, 49 and 25.
The interchange has been constructed by Mota Engil with funding from New Building Society Bank (NBS) worth K7.6 billion.
