Various government institutions are this month expected to start getting free WIFI and internet connectivity.
The Public Private Partnership Commission (PPPC) is implementing an ICT focused project dubbed Digital Malawi project.
The project is aimed to create room for extension of improved access to critical and advanced ICT infrastructure for both public and private sectors.
In a statement, the PPPC reveals it has identified TNM as the service provider.
TNM will connect 16 schools, 4 national libraries, 8 public hospitals and set up the free WIFI zones in 30 sites.
The government signed a contract for the free connectivity with TNM Plc last week.
