National Food Reserve Agency (NFRA) Deputy Chief Executive Officer Gerald Viola has spent four days in police cell.

Viola was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on suspected offences under the Corrupt Practices Act and Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act.

According to information at hand, Viola will be taken to court today for formal charges and possibly bail application will be made today.
