There is low turn out of women at demonstrations in Lilongwe as they match against alleged discrimination of women in public appointments.
The women are among others protesting low women representation in boards of public institutions while 7 other boards have zero women representation.
President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera justified low women representation last Monday during his media engagement after clocking 100 days in office but pledged to look into the concerns raised.
Demonstrations are taking place in Lilongwe, Blantyre and Mzuzu.
