The Ministry of Youth and Sports has succumbed to football fans pressure to re-open Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.

Speaking in an interview when he met some concerned supporters, Minister responsible Honourble Enock Chihana said after consultation the ministry has decided to reopen the stadium with immediate effect.

This means that the Stadium will start hosting hosting Super League games.

Honourable Chihana said in the mean four stands which have some crack will not have a full capacity while the remaining two will be in full operation.

The Minster further said that he will hold a meeting with club officials to map the way forwad and that the Stadium will be ready for use in 2-4 weeks based on the outcome of the meeting that he will hold with officials from his Minstry.
