Evangelical School of Ministries Dean of the Academics Reverend Stanly Makatanje has urged outgoing students to remain royal and committed in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ across the country.

Reverend Makatanje said this on Sunday at Chitawira Evangelical Church (ECM) in Blantyre during the graduation of 8 people who have graduated with Certificates in Christian Ministry after their 8 months study.


Reverend Makatanje said the school teaches so many areas including spiritual counseling, evangelism, seminars, refresher courses among others that enable students to be good ambassadors in good characters, confidence and goals.

“Our school is one of the best schools when it comes to biblical teachings. Today some those graduating includes from Church of Christ which tells that we have trust also in other churches in Malawi,” said Makatanje.

On his part ESOM Principal in Thyolo district, Michael John Phiri urged the graduates to rely on power of God over every situation they may experience.

“In every situation victory belongs to God, this is the message going to the graduating pastors today. I am very much sure that God has prepared all pastors graduating with different gifts to serve spiritually.

“They have learnt a lot and need to be exemplary out there reflecting the theme of todays graduation ceremony “A workman approved by God (2 Tim2:15. Be servant of both God and people you are going to serve,” said Phiri.

One of the graduating students Joseph Sadick said the 8 months stay at the College has helped him spiritually.

Speaking on behalf of lecturers at the school, Reverend Ernest Nakari appealed to well-wishers to assist the institution with funds facilitate their work of training evangelists.

Nakari has since asked those people who wish to enroll at the school to do so.

Evangelical School of Ministry was founded by missionary by the name Erwin Vander Meer in 2008.
