Two judges have testified in a bribery case involving Mlenga Mvula , former spokesperson for Judiciary.

Mvula was arrested in 2017 in relation to abuse of office and obtaining money by false pretences.

He is alleged to have corruptly solicited money and favours from United Methodists Church in the name of high court judges and former attorney general Kalekeni Kaphale.

Meanwhile, two high court judges Fiona Mwale and Charles Mkandawire have now testified.

Former attorney general Kalekeni Kaphale is also expected to testify in the case today.

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested Mvula last year after reports emerged that he demanded various sums of money amounting to K10, 700,000.00 from the United Methodist Church through Reverend Daniel Mhone, the Executive Church Member and Conference Superintendent.
