High Court in Blantyre has adjourned the hearing of a case involving retired business mogul Thom Mpinganjra to 1:30 PM.
Mpinganjira appeared before court today.
Laywer for Mpinganjira Patrice Nkhono said he could not comment on what led to the adjournment.
“I can not say anything right now just come in the afternoon,” he said getting into his car and driving off.
Mpinganjira’s Thursday court appearance follows two strike downs to have the case adjourned for a judicial review.
Dressed in a stripped suit and black necktie Mpinganjira looked jovial and even stopped for close up pictures when he was leaving.
He was accompanied by Brown Mpinganjira, spokesperson of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).
Anti Corruption Bureau arrested Thom and charged him for allegedly trying to bribe Consitituonal Court judges presiding over the disputed May 2019 Presidential election in favour of then incumbent DPP’s Peter Mutharika.
