Legendary street artist Inkie presents this Urban Art Auction benefitting children both in the UK and Malawi through Great Ormond St. and Temwa. Featuring world-renowned artists, this event is not to be missed.
From Inkie’s page:
Following the success of our event last year where we raised nearly £30K for Great Ormond Streets Cochlear Implant unit and CICS charity we are holding another dinner auction again this autumn that will take place in the dining room of the Paradise by way of Kensal Green on Thursday 15th September 2011.
Last years was a complete sell out and was attended by Alan Carr, Ed Chemical, Roisin Murphy, Sean Pertwee, Jaime Winston, The …Scratch Perverts, Jack Beats, Jeff Leach amongst others.
We also have one of the UK’s top auction houses and Great Ormond Street on board to help with promotion of this event.
This year the money raised will be split between Cochlear Implant support in the UK and TEMWA’s charity work for AIDS / HIV orphaned kids in Malawi.
The art last year was stunning with pieces from Banksy, Goldie, Mysterious Al, Ben Eine, 3D, Pure Evil, Lucy MacLauchlan, D-Face, Paul Insect, David Choe amongst many others and we hope to raise the bar significantly this time around.
