Minister of Homeland Security Richard Chimwendo Banda has said he is assured that the construction of Blantyre police that is underway in the commercial city, will be completed by 2022.
Chimwendo Banda said the remarks today (Tuesday) when he toured the construction site to appreciate progress being made on the project.
The construction work is being done by City Building Contractors (CBC).
Meanwhile, CBC Administration and Human Resource Manager Lorex Kapanga has said with the pace they have taken, the project will be completed within the projected period.
The construction of the modern police in the commercial city started last year.
