The Ntchisi First Grade Magistrate’s court has convicted and sentenced Gidion Mdembo, 23, to 6 years imprisonment with hard labour (IHL) for house breaking and theft. The court heard that the convict first broke into the house of Christopher Kamutu of Mchingereza village, Traditional Authority Kasakula in the district where he stole one 50kg bag of NPK fertilizer valued at K14,500.00.
