Veteran rapper Lil Wayne has offered a cryptic response to reports that his model girlfriend, Denise Bidot dumped him for supporting Donald Trump.

Reports suggested that Bidot parted ways with Lil Wayne following his meeting with Donald Trump. The meeting drew the ire of the Black American community with a number of fellow rappers criticizing the Young Money boss for endorsing Donald Trump.

An angry Bidot went on to delete her Instagram account after supposedly unfollowing Lil Wayne before the rumored split. The New Orleans rapper reportedly also unfollowed Bidot on the platform.

However, Lil Wayne has not addressed the rumor that he was dumped by Bidot head-on but went on for a cryptic response.

On his official Twitter account, Wayne wrote:

I live the way I love and love the way I live. I’m a lover not a lighter bekuz they burn out. I am an eternal fire and burning love, either leave with a tan, a 3rd degree burn, or stay and die in love. You’re sweating. Sincerely, the fireman.

Bidot and Wayne went public on Instagram although it is unclear how long the two were together before the rumored split. Bidot often posted pictures of them together and attended social events with Lil Wayne.

The news of Bidot and Wayne’s split comes a few days after the rapper shared a picture of himself and Donald Trump.
