Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that Dr. Dorthy Nampota has been appointed as Acting Chief Executive Officer for Malawi National Examination Board (MANEB).
The development follows the suspension of MANEB CEO Gerald Chiunda over the leaking of this year’s Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examinations.
Nampota is expected to administer the MSCE examination scheduled for January as ordered by President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.
Meanwhile investigations are underway to trace the perpetrators of MSCE examination leakage, making government to lose MK5.4 billion.
