Truck driver who sealed Mwanza border call off strike

Truck drivers who sealed Mwanza border on Wednesday have called off the protest after talks with relevant authorities right there at the border.
According to information at hand, minimum monthly pay of a truck driver will now be at K140,000.00 from the previous K60,000.00.
The salary hike is with effect from this coming December.
The truck drivers sealed Mwanza border for 48 hours, making it impossible for vehicles to to cross the border.
