Information reaching this publication indicates that Malawian Airlines has cancelled all flight to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and Johannesburg, South Africa.
According to the statement made available to faceofmalawi, the cancellation is due to a technical problem.
“Malawi Airlines would like to advise all that flight ET20/21 from/to Lilongwe to Johannesburg via Blantyre and flight ET42/43 to/from Dar es Salaam for Monday, 7 December 2020 have been canceled due to technical problem. All affected passengers are being protected via Addis Ababa,” reads in part the statement.
Last week, the flight to South Africa was called off at the 11th hour after the plane clashed with a bird after taking off from Kamuzu International Airport (KIA).
The plane got damaged in the process.
