Robert Chabvi, Councilor for Matundu Ward in Nsanje South has been arrested for beating his herdsman to death.
According to reports, Chabvi beat up the herdsman after he failed to account for flocks.
Today, the Nsanje First Grade Magistrate Court is expected to formally charge Chabvi.
Nsanje police spokesperson Agnes Zalakoma confirmed of the development.
According to Zalakoma, the lower court will commit the case to High Court at the hearing today.
