As the country is still experiencing a surge in the rise of Coronavirus cases, numbers of people recovering from the virus are coming in promising as of yesterday, at least 108 people recovered from the virus.
So far out the 13 000 plus people who have tested positive for the global pandemic Coronavirus at least half of them have recovered.
Most of Malawians are using local ways of halting the spread of the virus apart from following other ways such as wearing face masks, washing hands regularly and practicing social distance.
Few days ago, the presidential taskforce on COvid-19 gazzeted new guidelines which has seen wearing of face masks to be mandatory and trimmed number of people to 50 from the initial 100.
Meanwhile, Malawians of good will are donating to support the ministry of health by ensuring that the country’s hospitals are equipped in as far as the fight against Coronavirus is concerned.
President Lazarus Chakwera, declared a state of national disaster and asked people to donate to the fight against coronavirus.
