A 3-year-old-girl has died while three others sustained injuries after a wall of a house they were passing by fell on them in Mwanza on Tuesday.

Spokesperson for Mwanza police, Inspector Edwin Kaunda,confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

According to Kaunda, the four were going to the market to buy freezes when the accident occurred.

Kaunda said the wall fell due to heavy rains.

“The girl died upon arrival at the district hospital where the other three have been admitted,” he said.
