A Police officer, who wanted to impersonate as a traffic police officer on duty has seen his worst today in Blantyre’s Mibawa Depot as minibus touts and vendors rampaged on him, leaving him bathed in blood.
The police officer, who was supposed to be performing his duties at a police unit close to the depot, is said to have tried to get money from some minibus drivers.
But this infuriated the people in the depot who beat him up severely, tearing his uniform in the process.
