At 9 years old the daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z Blue Ivy Carter has won her first Grammy award for best music video of “Brown Skin Girl” a song done by her mother in which she was featured.

The youngster won the award during the 63rd Grammy Award which took place yesterday.

Blue Ivy becomes the second youngest artist to win a Grammy Award in history.

Blue Ivy is just a year older than Leah Pearsall was when she won Grammy for Album of the year for the ‘O Brother, Where Art Thou’ sound track in 2002.

‘Brown Skin Girl’ was released as part of the 2019 album ‘This Lion King: The Gift’.

On the other hand Yesterday Beyoncé officially broke the record for most Grammy wins by a female artist, or by any singer when she took home her 28th Grammy award for best R&B performance.
