Dedza secondary school Alumni on Saturday visited the school with an aim of restoring the natural resources by planting trees.

The alumni planted over 1000 trees at the school campus.

Alumni, Francis  Chuma said  the school will be holding  its platinum jubilee in  May  and the  tree planting  exercise is part  of the  celebration .

According to Chuma, the jubilee organizing team so far has raised five million kwacha of the required eight million kwacha hence appealing to well-wishers to assist them.

Chuma said the practice is not for only students in Dedza secondary school but rather each and every citizen to take part in conserving the environment by planting.
