Veteran Nollywood ace actor Bruno Iwuoha has died at the age of 68 after battling with diabetes in the early hours of Saturday.
Untill his death, Iwuoha was a household name in Africa’s movie industry.
He had strings of honours including ‘Best Supporting Actor’ award at the third Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) which he won in 2007 for his role in ‘Sins of the Flesh’ movie.
Iwuoha made his debut in a Ndubuisi Okoh production titled ‘Lost Kingdom’ which was shot at Aba. The producer needed a naturally grey-haired elderly actor which he suited.
He suffered from diabetes which resulted in glaucoma.
Bruno Iwuoha’s name was listed among beneficiaries of an appeal fund that the Actors Guild of Nigeria launched in January this year.
The legend is survived by his wife and six children.
Bruno Iwuoha hails from Ehime Mbano Local Government Area in Umunumo Umuanunu kindred in Imo state.
