Chris Brown is facing legal action after his dog allegedly bit a cleaning lady.
The woman, Patricia Avila, claims one of the singer’s dogs viciously attacked her sister while they were cleaning his Tarzana, Calif. house.
In the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Avila says she and her sister were hired to clean Chris’ home twice a week at a rate of $600 per day. She was aware that Chris had dogs, but says they remained in a separate part of the property whenever they came over to clean.
One day, she says Chris’ Caucasian Shepherd Ovcharka made his way to the backyard while her sister was emptying a vacuum and attacked her, tearing three or four inches of skin off her arm. The large dog also allegedly bit her face and leg.
Chris called 911 and they were able to eventually to get the dog off her sister, who was taken to the hospital to undergo surgery. Avila says she feared her sister was going to die from the blood loss.
Avila alleges that the incident caused her emotional distress including PTSD, severe anxiety, and panic attacks.
She is suing for damages, claiming Chris failed to protect her from the unreasonable risk of harm from the dog, who she says has a history of violent and aggressive behavior. It’s unclear if Avila’s sister, the alleged bite victim, plans to file a separate suit.
