Macdonald Sembereka, one of the main organisers of the July 20th, 2011 demonstrations that resulted in the loss of millions worth of property and loss of at least 20 lives in Malawi is this morning alleging people who are demonstrating against the arrest of the 11 by the Joyce Banda administration are being paid K2,000 each and pieces of nsalu.

Following the incarceration of the team, there have been wild demonstrations in Phalombe, Mulanje, Thyolo, Blantyre, Chiradzulu, Zomba and Lilongwe. In his views, Sembereka says he has evidence the people are being paid K2,000 each and nsalu to express their anger against the authorities. There must be billions of Kwachas from where all that cash is coming from!!!

Remember, after organising the July 20th, demonstrations, Macdonald Sembereka took his family for safety and he himself left Malawi. He only returned to the country after the damage was caused. Following a good job well done that Bingu Wa Mutharika eventually died, Macdonald Sembereka was rewarded as Advisor on Non Governmental Organisations to President Joyce Banda from where he is making all these pronouncements.
