President Lazarus Chakwera is today expected to take questions from Members of Parliament.

The development comes barely a weekafter he presented his State of the Nation Address in the house.

Leader of the House Richard Chimwendo Banda who is also Minister of Homeland Security has confirmed of the development.

According to Chimwendo, Chakwera is expected to take not less than 5 questions from the MPs and other supplementary questions that may come.

He said the Question time will commence at 2pm.

Chimwendo said Parliament leadership is looking into the request by MPs to extend the time the President takes questions.
