President Lazarus Chakwera is at Luwawa forest in Mzimba to witness a military training operation by the Malawi Defence Force (MDF).
This is a last exercise before pass-out of newly recruited soldiers.
According to Zodiak Broadcasting Station (ZBS), the president will participate in a drill before being conferred a military rank.
