It has been confirmed that the annual cultural festivals of Mulhako wa a Lhomwe will be held on October 10, this year.

This has been communicated by the Sectrateriat of Mulhako wa a Lhomwe.

Addressing the press in Blantyre, Chief Executive Officer for the heritage Pius Mvenya said the  cultural festival’ will be held at its chonde headquarters in Mulanje district.

This, according to Mvenya, has been agreed at a general assembly held on 15th May.

As part of preparations, fundraising activities have been lined up and these include performances by some of well-known artists in the country.

Last year the celebrations failed to take place due to the surge of Coronavirus cases which hit the country hard.
