President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera is today expected to receive second dose of the AstraZeneca Vaccine.
The development comes barely hours after the government of Malawi through the Ministry of health started administering the second doses to Malawians.
According to the statement from the Office of the President and Cabinet, Chakwera will receive the vaccine at Mtunthama State Residences.
The exercise is expected to commerce at 3:30pm.
President Dr. Chakwera launched the exercise three months ago in Zomba.
Meanwhile it is not known if the Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima will also receive the second jab today.
