The Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) is warning the public against dealing with unlicensed courier operators in a bid to avoid being duped.
The development however follows an incursion in business entities that are carrying out unlicensed courier operations.
According to the regulatory body, Malawi only has 18 licensed operators, that collect and deliver various items across the country.
The unlicensed operators however risk being fined K1million and imprisonment, if they continue their illegal operations.
