The new Director-General for the Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) George Kasakula has challenged employees for the public broadcaster to be professional and refrain from being used by politicians.
Kasakula was outlining his vision for the public broadcaster during an interface meeting with members of staff for the Southern Region.
“Don’t expect anything from me or politicians. Execute your duties diligently and professionally to take (MBC) to greater heights,” said Kasakula.
Kasakula has been in office for fours days since he was appointed DG for MBC.
