Kenyan police on Saturday night arrested a man who was nabbed committing an unnatural act to a sheep.
John Omondi, 20, was nabbed committing the act to a sheep that belongs to Richard Odhiambo.
In a police report filed at Siaya Police Station, Odhiambo said he had gone to check his sheep at a place where he had tied it to graze but found it missing.
“He started searching for the sheep and that is when he cornered the suspect on the act,” the report read in part.
He then asked for help and with the assistance of members of the public they arrested the suspect and escorted him to the police station.
Omondi was then immediately placed in custody and he is to be charged on Monday.
Under the Penal Code Chapter 63, Section 162, bestiality is a serious crime.
It remains unclear what leads people to commit the act but others say it is because of moral decay in society.
