As one way of making sure that journalists are equipped with information on Covid-19 in Nsanje, the district health office has organized a day long training for the media.
Nsanje District Health Office spokesperson George Mbotwa has confirmed the development.
Mbotwa said that the training has been organized by Gaka Community radio under a Community Mobilization on Covid-19 project being financed by FHI 360 through USAID.
The journalists are currently attending a day- long media training at Bangula, aimed at deepening the skills in Covid-19 pandemic reporting.
Meanwhile, the training has drawn scribes from various media house including Zodiak, Timveni radio, Capital FM, MIJ FM, Rainbow TV, Nyanthepa and Gaka Community radios.
It is aimed at drilling the members of the media on various Covid19 talking points.
