The Center For Democracy Economic Development Initiative (CDEDI) is baying for the blood of Secretary to the President Zanga-Zanga Chikhosi over his involvement in the Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) Board scandal.
CDEDI Executive Director Sylvester Namiwa says there is a need for President Lazarus Chakwera to fire Chikhosi for allegedly participating in the looting and plundering of public funds.
Recently, board members of MACRA were in Dubai for a meeting which was allegedly chaired by Chikhosi and over K40 million kwacha was used.
“The Secretary to the President and Cabinet (SPC) Mr. Zangazanga Chikhosi should be fired for his participation in the looting and plunder of public funds,” said Namiwa.
Namiwa also called on Chikhosi to stop doubling as board chair for NOCMA and EGENCO for fear of conflict of interest.
