The Malawi Defense Force (MDF) has this morning graduated 1, 390 regular soldiers.

The Soldiers, underwent basic training at the Malawi Armed Forces College (MAFCO) in Salima.

Deputy Minister of Defense, Jean Sendeza presided over the pass out ceremony of the soldiers at MAFCO, in the district.

The Soldiers, who have been trained for four months, have been trained to execute their jobs professionally.

Speaking to the soldiers, MDF’s army commander advise them not to use the uniform to intimidate civilians but rather give them hope that they are there to protect them.
