President Dr Lazarus Chakwera says the former Zambian President, Dr Kenneth Kaunda, was one of the brave sons of Africa and founding father of the Southern African Frontline States who diligently fought for the Sovereignty of the African countries.
Dr Chakwera was speaking at Lusaka Show Grounds In Zambia during the state funeral of late Dr Kaunda.
Eulogies coming from the Heads of State And Governments have described Dr Kaunda as a true African icon who dedicated his time to bringing peace to the region.
Kaunda died at the Military Hospital on Thursday, June 17, 2021 after suffering from pneumonia.
Burial will be on 7th July 2021 at the Presidential Embassy.
