Kaweche Kaunda a son to Zambia’s founding father and first President the late Kenneth Kaunda has said he is not happy with where his father was buried.

According to Kaweche, the fact that his father has been buried at Embassy Park instead of at his farm, makes unhappy.

Speaking on whether he will appeal on High Court’s decision which gave a go ahead of Kaunda’s burial at Embassy Park, Kaweche said he will no appeal.

“I’m not going to appeal because it doesn’t make any sense. My motion was to stop them from interring him (Dr Kaunda) at that point (Embassy Park), but they have already done it,” said Kaweche.

He therefore said that there is a need to move on since its done.

It is said that Kaunda wanted to be buried next to his wife Betty, but the state said he should be honored considering that he is Zambia’s founding father.
