Public Affairs Committee (PAC) wants to re-engage President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera on some of his campaign promises ahead of the court sanctioned fresh Presidential polls.

The development follows Tonse Alliance failure to fulfill most of the promises such as creation of 1 million jobs and public assessment of his Cabinet.

Spokesperson for the quasi-religious grouping, Bishop Gilford Matonga said they think Chakwera is failing to fulfill some campaign promises just to appease his Tonse Alliance partners.

Matonga added they are currently in discussions with State House to be given time to meet the President.

Minister of Information Gospel Kazako is yet comment on the matter.

Tonse Alliance is currently receiving criticisms from the general public for failing to live to the expectations of many Malawians.
