Weather experts have warned that the county will continue experiencing cold weather conditions until at least Wednesday this week.

The country has been experiencing cold to very cold weather conditions from Friday last week.

Meanwhile, the country’s major water bodies including, Lake Malawi, Lake Malombe, Lake Chirwa and Lake Chiuta, are experiencing a blow of Mwera winds.

According to Jolam Nkhokwe Director of the Department of Climate Change and Metrological Services, these conditions will continue up to Wednesday.

The department is strongly advising the general public to strictly abide by precautionary measures to avoid loss of life and property.
