Presidential Advisor Martin Thom arrested

Pastor Martin Thom, a presidential advisor to President Lazarus Chakwera has been arrested as part of an investigation into how a loan authorisation bill was smuggled into Parliament without cabinet approval.
Thom has been arrested together with Acting Director of Debt and Aid at Ministry of Finance, Nations Msowoya.
State House Director of Communications Sean Kampondeni has confirmed of the development.
