Kenya Police in Kuresoi South on Tuesday nabbed a man for killing his wife and lover after he found them on his matrimonial bed.

Peter Cheruiyot allegedly stabbed his wife Agnes Kirinyet and her lover Christopher Korir after he found them making love.

The suspect then turned himself in at Keringet police station.

“He reported that he had killed his wife a female adult aged 32 years and another man Christopher Korir a Kipsigis male adult aged 40 years after he found them in his matrimonial bed,” a police report seen by this reporter read in part.

Officers drawn from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) visited the scene where they found the two lifeless bodies inside the suspect’s bedroom.

The body of Korir was found lying in bed the throat having been slit and a deep cut on the right cheek.

The lady’s body was found on the floor with a deep cut on the head and right hand.

Police did not find the murder weapon at the scene.

“The bodies were then moved to Olenguruone Sub-County hospital morgue awaiting an autopsy.

The suspect is currently being grilled by DCI sleuths.
