Vice President Dr Saulos Chilima is today August 4 touring the countries’ hot spots for the forthcoming SADC Summit in Lilongwe.

This is to appreciate the level of preparedness for the Summit.

Among other establishments, Dr Chilima is expected to visit the Kamuzu International Airport, Kapani Railway Bridge, Lingadzi River Bridge and Parliament round about.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has since disclosed that an advance team from the SADC secretariat is expected to arrive in the country today, Wednesday.

Malawi will host the 41st Ordinary SADC Summit of Heads of State and Government in Lilongwe from Monday August 9 through Wednesday August 18.
