Centre for Democracy and Economic Development (CDEDI) Executive Director Sylvester Namiwa and 10 others are expected to appear in court today.

Namiwa and others were arrested on Tuesday for allegedly holding unlawful vigil at Parliament over a smuggled bill.

The accused were expected to appear in court yesterday but the case failed.

Lawyer representing the accused Charles Mhango has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

According to Mhango, the accused will appear before Nkukula Magistrate court at Lumbadzi.
