Embattled Anglican priest, Rev. Father Balthazar Obeng Larbi, has, in a statement apologized to Ghanaians for sexually harassing some female students in a video which has since gone viral with an explanation that he wanted to add a human touch to his Godly work.

“I sincerely apologize to my Archbishop, the entirety of the Anglican Communion, the College, the affected students and their families, and the generality of the public. I pray for forgiveness from all and sundry and plead that you hold me in your prayers during these trying times. May God bless us all,” portion of the statement signed by Father Baltharzzar Obeng Larbi read.

Rev. Father Balthazar was seen kissing four innocent students in the video.

Apart from apologizing, the Rev. Father has asked Ghanaians to remember him in prayers in these trying times since his intention was not to put the name of God into disrepute but he did that in “An attempt to add a human touch resulted in the scene in the video.”

“Accordingly, I am sincerely sorry for my actions seen in the video. I seemed to have taken a number of things for granted. I did not think my behavior through and I admit that the act and its setting are wrong even in the absence of Covid-19.
