A Connecticut landlord has been busted sneaking into one of this tenant’s houses to sniff her underwear when she is not home.

Jorge Orellana-Arias, 38, was arrested Thursday on a third-degree burglary charge following an investigation into a number of alleged break-ins at the female victim’s East Haven apartment, the Hartford Courant reported.

The woman first suspected that Orellana-Arias had far more on his mind than the rent back in May when she told police that he had entered her and her daughter’s bedroom while they were out and rifled through their clothing.

As cops started investigating, the woman barricaded some of the doors in the apartment in an effort to prevent further unauthorized visits.

But Orellana-Arias managed to sneak in using another entrance, police said. The woman then decided to set up hidden cameras in the apartment to catch Orellana-Arias red-handed, according to the Courant.

“She stated that the camera caught Orellana-Arias entering her apartment through a side door, before proceeding to both bedrooms where he would locate female underwear,” police said in a statement.

“The video, which was provided to officers, shows Orellana-Arias bringing female garments to his nose, apparently in an effort to sniff them.”

The woman also told police that on one occasion Orellana-Arias went there while her daughter was home alone, but was “startled” by her presence and left “immediately.” Orellana-Arias was released after posting $25,000 bond. He is set to appear in court on September 14.
