One of the country’s leading banks, Standard Bank has given Sand Music Festival Organizers, Imapkt Management Events K9 Million sponsorship.
Standard Bank plc head of platform business, Effie Malange, said the contribution is in line with the bank’s philosophy of supporting and driving growth of all undertakings by Malawians.
On her part, Impakt management Events member Wendy Harawa thanked Standard Bank for the gesture describing it as a timely boost.
This year’s Sandfest will take place at Sunbird Nkopola Lodge in Mangochi from Friday October 1 to Sunday October 3.
Artists such as Gramps Morgan, Makhadzi and Sipho Makhabane, among others, are billed to perform.
