Singer and songwriter Rashley (real name Happy Jumbe) has apologized to his fans for letting them during his performance at Sand Music Festival in Mangochi at Nkopola lodge over the weekend.

The RnB singer was given a chance to share the stage with popular musician from within and outside the country but he ended up giving what can be describe as ‘poor performance’ breaking hearts of his fans.

The Ndizasangalala star failed to connect with his fans when he took the stage on Saturday the second day of the Sand Music Festival at exactly 5 O’clock in the evening.

He disastrously performed his own song Kumayamika the amapiano hit and murdered it with off chords and tunes.

Within in a brink of an eye social media was carried with a challenged generated from the mistakes made by the songbird.

Writing on his Facebook page, Rashley apologized to his fans on the disappointment made saying that he was overwhelmed.

“The truth is, I was overwhelmed. That was the biggest stage I had ever performed on. I couldn’t hold myself together. I apologize to my fans and to all those who believe in me. I’m sorry for letting you down,” said Rashley.

According to him, he is still young and learning adding that he is willing to learn from his mistakes and he thanked those who insulted him saying that he needed that.

“I am still young and I’m still learning. I’m willing to grow and to learn from my mistakes. To all those who insulted me, thank you, I needed that. To those who sent messages of encouragement, May God bless you,” he said.

Rashley is optimistic that he will be back on the same stage with far much better performance.

He then thanked organizers of the show for giving him an opportunity to perform on such a big stage
