Zambia’s legendary musician K’Millian, real names Leo Moyo has been hospitalized after suffering from a partial stroke.
K’millian Music record label has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to the press.
“In order to curb any illicit information that may be circulating in the media, K’millian Music would like to inform the fans and the general public that yes indeed, the artist K’millian (Leo Moyo) has suffered a Transient Ischaemic Attack, also called: TIA, mini stroke.
“We would like to thank all the medical staff, family and friends that ensured that he was attended to in a timely manner so as not to exacerbate the situation,” reads in part the statement.
Added the statement: “He is receiving the best treatment and care and we continue to hope and pray for a full recovery so that he may return to entertain us with the music we have all grown to know and love.”
K’Millian once worked with late Ugandan female vocalist Sarah Nampijja formerly as Sera.
