Lilongwe High Court has set October 25 as the day to resume hearing of Aubrey Sumbuleta’s sexual harassment case.

Earlier today the Court rejected an application by the State to have Sumbuleta’s case held in camera.

In his judgement, High Court Judge, Professor Redson Kapindu said he was not convinced with the reasons the State has presented to the Court.

Sumbuleta is being accused of sexually harassing female employees at MBC when he was at the helm of the corporation.

To protect the identity of the witnesses, the judge has directed that witnesses should be allowed to use pseudo names.

The court has also directed that the media should not take pictures inside the court and that no other document for the witnesses will be shared with the public.
